Love the chessboard table - this would be such a cool piece to have in our house, especially for Jim. It would be neat to incorporate this idea with the style of the tables we want in the living room. Perhaps Dave or Aaron could make this for us?

Wallpaper is never ending and very clever nowadays or even 12"x12" paper effect panels but unlikely due to the distressed nature along the top right portion of wall. There is a wavy imperfection in the middle of the wall along the right half which implies hand applicated gold or copper leafing. It has a certain glow about it so I would think gold with a ton of amber toned glazes and sealers over it. However it was achieved it is truly amazing! Too bad the installer didn't get some sort of mention;)
