Kelly Porter The large quilt is from West Elm and the faux fur throw is from HomeGoods. The other pillows and shams are from Burlington.

Emily Hurley Using the door as a context clue, with standard door height around 6' 8', I'd guess that the ceiling is about 8 feet, making the stripe around 3 feet wide.

Wonder how close I got. :)

My oldest son's bedroom used to be filled with red and other vibrant hues, but at 16, he now has a more mature space with earthier colors. Like many boys his age, he's busy with school and sports, so I wanted his room to be a place where he could study and wind down. Tip: Boys don't need fussy lighting fixtures. If they play or workout in their room, a simple ceiling fan will be welcome.
