Trim Color - I WAS WONDERING WHAT TRIM COLOR YOU PICKED OUT TO GO WITH THE CABINET COLORS? BEAUTIFUL!!! »
Heydt Designs I'm sorry, I don't remember exactly. The interior designer, Benjamin Dhong could probably tell you. You can find him here on Houzz.com. Hope that helps!
Heydt Designs It's an insert hood with a custom hood cabinet. A high-end cabinet shop should be familiar with the application. When you order the hood, you ask for an insert hood. The cabinet is designed to fit it. Hope that helps!
Heydt Designs Sorry for the late reply. We used real lemons from the flower mart. They are intended for this purpose with the stems and leaves intact. (: Best, Leigha
Heydt Designs It is soft, and stains easily, but I absolutely love the look and feel of it. The grey marbling helps hide discolorations. Best of luck! Leigha
What is the color of the cabinets and walls in main rooms? - Would also like to know the color of the cabinets and the color of the walls in the other rooms, as I am in the same color range and have to decide..
thanks. »

Tiles. The Victorians did use tiles in their kitchens, as backsplashes and elsewhere. However, finding a complete set of these authentic tiles is difficult today. Try subway tiles for a contemporary look with a traditional twist, as they echo the plain functionality of the Victorian kitchen. For a quirkier vintage look, searching salvage stores for mismatched but same-size tiles to design a feature behind the stove.
