ROM architecture studio Yes, it is so true. That is why I designed this one. We couldn't find what we wanted anywhere and didn't like the options that were available.
ROM architecture studio It is imported from Europe. A google search for 'fagor side-opening european convection oven' will get you some sources. It is smaller than the average American oven, but big enough for the Thanksgiving turkey.
A side-opening oven door mounted at just the right height makes it easier to reach in (and pull things out of) the oven. Cooks can put hot plates and pots on a lowered countertop directly across from the oven. Notice the faucet on the side of the sink and how the sink is designed to be as deep as possible while leaving enough knee space underneath.
Initially, I didn't notice the recessed doors under the sink, but considering I'll have a garbage disposal, this may be the best way to hide all those mechanics if possible. I want to do a roll under sink, but not a lowered one.
I sort'a like the controls on the side... but I think I prefer them at the back so they stay out'a the way. I like how the underbit part is covered... don't like the handles as I imagine my knees hitting them. Can't find a suitable side mounted oven door... the bottom ones aren't bad.
