hermione2 I met with my glass contractor today. He is telling me that we need to have something to stabilize the glass with, that is it needs to go all the way up to the top, or has to have a metal rim on the top. Is this a problem that is common or should I get another opinion?
James Patrick Walters This frameless shower glass door is held in place by U channels on the wall and floor. ( You could also use brackets.) The mitered corner is siliconed. The shower door has a floor and ceiling pivoting hinge. Ask your contractor about using U channels or brackets to secure.
Georgeous!! This really helps me envision what I have been trying to design in my head!! - I want my shower and tub area to appear and feel like It is outdoors in a tropical area. And this pretty much nails it down for me! But a free standing soaker tub that fills with a waterfall would be in the garden space that would continue into the shower area. Now if I could only win the Houzz Sweepstakes so I could afford my dream master bath! : ) »
Grout color for the pebble tile. - I have a white pebble tile and not sure if I should use a grout that matches as closely as possible, a lighter white tone, or a slightly beige tone. I like the look you created here....what color grout did you go with? »
James Patrick Walters The garden is an entirely enclosed exterior space, separated by a glass wall from the interior space, but accessed through a glass door.
A former bath wall was removed; then the lava rock walls were installed to define an expanded garden space. The walls were topped with a glass roof that creates a climate-controlled environment.

What pebble tile is that? It looks terrific with that color palette and was wondering what color grout you used to get this overall look. It is beautiful and would like to do something similar but often do not like the final look of the pebble floors »
An indoor shower right next to an outdoor shower would have me saying, "Eeny meeny miney mo." They are both so pretty; I don't know if I could handle having to make such a hard decision first thing in the morning.
