Is there a cross section drawing of the plumbing for this? - Hi, We are general contractor and are currently integrating a master bath vainity/sink much like this one. We are having difficulty with the plumbing. Wondering if there is spec drawing out there that shows a side view of how both the drain and faucet plumbing works? Any direction you can throw us towards would be very helpful! »
What is the distance between the two faucets? - I have a small vanity in our master bathroom (54" across) and am trying to make the decision between two smaller sinks or one large trough sink with 1-2 faucets. Ideally, we'll have 2 separate faucets but I don't know if we'll have the required space to make it fit and feel right. Thanks for any advice you can offer. »
lazycats What about getting one large sink for the two girls to share? Like the sink you showed from Sonoma Cast Stone. How wide of a sink can I go with a 39" space? I probably need to have a few inches on the side of the sink right? If I go with a 35 inch sink, which would leave 2 inches on each side, would this size be too tight for both girls to use at the same time?
Patricia B. Warren, AIA Warren Architecture, LLC I would leave more space on the sides, and you probably want the sink to fit inside a standard sink base cabinet, probably a 36" wide sink base cabinet. I would mock up a sink that is about 32"-33" wide, and indicate the faucets about 14" to 15" apart. Have your girls stand in front of the mock up and see if they feel like they are too close to one another.
Patricia B. Warren, AIA Warren Architecture, LLC The sink was fabricated by Sonoma Cast Stone, and bought through a local Tucson dealer. My cost was around $2600. It was a total splurge, but we truly love it. Two regular sinks would have been very tight in the space. This one large sink with two faucets works perfectly for two people sharing the bathroom.
Patricia B. Warren, AIA Warren Architecture, LLC The cabinetry is from Woodmode, the overall width of the counter and the room is 5'-9", and the width of the sink base cabinet is 42".
What is the maker of the sconces? Also, is the mirror just sitting on the tiles or did you frame it with another material such as Schluter? I love the clean look of your bathroom. »
Patricia B. Warren, AIA Warren Architecture, LLC The wall sconces are "Songbird Wall Sconce" which we ordered from YLighting. The mirror is attached to the wall with mirror mastic. Holes for the sconce electrical box were pre-cut into the mirror prior to installation.

Patricia B. Warren, AIA Warren Architecture, LLC We bought it through a local retailer here in Tucson, AZ: Clyde Hardware. The fabricator is Sonoma Cast Stone, out of California. This particular sink is a "ramp sink".
Patricia B. Warren, AIA Warren Architecture, LLC It is a porcelain tile, which was also used in the shower enclosure. See the reflection in the mirror. I love to use porcelain tiles, they are so easy to clean. This particular tile has a matt finish with a very subtle linear pattern. It is manufactured by "Happy Floors". In the shower enclosure we used the porcelain tile combined with strips of marble tile. The marble was also used as the floor tile.
