K. D. Hello, Yes the countertop is glass. The light must be LED light that might be installed under or one the inner edge of the glass. ThinkGlass makes this type of glass. I am not sure if they did this one. They are a Canadian company that sellls glass all over the world. The countertops are stunning and unique. Visite the website : www.thinkglass.com
