Most of the windows were replaced with with new windows in the renovation for this project. We have some projects that retain original windows with storms due to historic district regulations.

It is Hardie and we work with our contractor to install the siding with alternating lap miters as the manufacturer suggests. We were fortunate to have a highly skilled carpenter on this project. This roof is constructed from synthetic slate. Initially we laid out the pattern in a computer model, then refined it with physical color samples of the synthetic slates. We then met with the roofer on site and reviewed the pattern, mocking it up with the roofer to make sure we all understood how it would appear.

5" approximately. We usually layout the exposure in the field with the contractor to work with a variety of elements including any bands, mouldings and window elevations where applicable.
