Shaughnessy Arts and Crafts

Recently featured in the Vancouver Heritage Foundations 2012 Heritage House tour, his beautiful heritage home in Vancouver turns 100 years old this year. What better way to celebrate a century than with a new kitchen by Paradigm Kitchen Design.

It was important to strike a balance between honouring the architecture and style of a home built in 1912, while adding some contemporary flavour and modern technology. To this end, materials included quarter sawn white oak and painted enamel finishes, custom stained glass panels reminiscent of Charles Rennie Macintosh , and hand-made brass handles. A Scottish Rose motif can be seen in the wood inserts and stained glass
