Stair Design / Iron Design you can achieve color with a stain, the wood selection isn't always the most important, you could achieve this color with Alder, Oak, White Oak, even maple... you just need a talented finisher to make this happen, If you have hardwood floors it might be a good idea to match the species to keep the consistency of the style
