This home was designed and built by the architect and his wife for their own weekend retreat. The breezeway separates the main part of the house from the guest suite, and serves as an outdoor living and dining room most of the year.

Here, the view of that canyon can be enjoyed under an open beam roof with a skylight. The narrow long table extends the eye outward as the lines of the roof structure push downward, converging at a distant point in space.
