Here's an example of a large canopy bed that would work great in a kids' room. It's a fun bed because it requires stairs to get up to it - almost like a bunk bed. It's also functional because items can be stored in the space underneath the sleeping area. The canopy itself adds to both fun and function - creating a cool kids' design while also tucking away anything you don't want to see when the kids aren't sleeping.
