1. Furry, unattractive beds. This built-in cushion is a nifty way to incorporate your furry companion's equally furry bed into a neat little hideaway. You can customize it to match your decor, and it keeps the pet hair (the bane of any dog/cat owner's existence) in the nook.
Who said we’re the only ones who love a cozy nook? Our four-legged friends deserve them, too.More creative sleeping quarters:Space Savers: Bunking in Style
3. Give them a special sleeping spot. I don't know about you, but fur is what plagues my pet-friendly house more than anything else. It's definitely been a challenge to figure out what zones my cat should be allowed into, and how to train him to stay off our red couch. If you have the room, a great solution for this is to build-in a bed for your dog or cat. Animals love safe, snug spots like this.
18. Beware pet odors. Really, this can be a big one! If you have pets, get all rugs steam cleaned and be extra vigilant about vacuuming and washing surfaces. Also be sure to keep any extra-loved pet toys and doggie bones hidden when tours are scheduled.

Add a heat register and our dogs would be thrilled- Something like this to divide the living room and kitchen might be nice- adds some more serving space too.
