The design is teeming with custom details including a porte cochère and fox head rain spouts, providing references to the historical narrative of the site’s long history.

what is a good color palette? - We are remodeling our kitchen. We are going from Oak cabinets to white cabinets much like the ones in this photo. We have med/dark wood floors and our counter tops will be a composite granite top - mainly black with some cream swirls of rock. There will be a banquette sitting by our bay windows. »
jbrockman1 It is Cambria - the design is Laneshaw which is a granite composite-mainly black with cream and other stones in it. Our floor is reddish/brown wood vaneer flooring. I cannot seem to attach a photo of the granite countertop from my ideabook.
COOK ARCHITECTURAL Design Studio Thank you for your interest in our project. The floor is porcelain tile that looks like French limestone and lagos azul.

Cliffside Industries Many cabinet hardware manufacturers make pulls and knobs like this. The handles are very similar to Cliffside Industries' SP-8, and the finish appears to be polished nickel. That handle also comes in 3", 5", and 12" sizes. See the picture below for comparison: the photo includes optional backplates which do not have to be used.

Traditional Key elements: The large-scale harlequin floor grounds the room in a traditional pattern. Glass cabinet fronts reflect the light, while the scalloped window treatment and drum pendant lights soften the room.
lPerfect. I love square opening in the middle wall. This is usually added (or should i say removed:) to give illusion that these r not only separate rooms but carry diff. purpuses. By adding the gap n slightly connecting the 2 rooms, this will add a little casual comfort to warm the house, giving it a friendly n welcoming impression.
