Sawdust Girl Thanks Melanie. I don't use a template. I set things out on the floor to get a general idea and then eyeball it. I used to trace the frames on craft paper,cut out and then tape those on the wall to get the layout. That's a good option for an area like this where the collage outline is an odd shape.

Gorgeous display of photographs with a subtle yet colorful use of varying frames, keeping it clean and simple without looking cheap or tacky! The only thing I don't like is the lack of color in the photos. BnW is artistic and has its place, but to me it sucks the life out of family pictures, especially candid shots and especially this many grouped together. I'd like to see the same simplistic elegance pulled off with color photos.
