dtorres62 There isn't lead used in glass. Lead was only used in stained glass to join pieces together. The green comes from the iron content present in standard float glass- which is a by-product of the sand used in the manufacturing process. The thicker the glass, the more apparent the iron content is (since you are looking through "more glass"). New products have been introduced to the market to reduce the green appearance in glass. Most glass manufacturers now have a low iron product available (PPG=Starphire, Pilkington+optiwhite etc) . Source= float glass plant 25+ years, engineering.
Subway Tile Outlet White glass tile will take on the tint of surrounding colors like wall color or cabinet hues. This will make the tile appear to have a tint of another color such as green. If you get a few samples and put them in the space you will see better what colors they will pick up from the surroundings.

shemarie I do like it but if the tile wasn't handmade and a tad inconsistent, a thinner grout line would have been preferred. Looks pretty and the only thing I would have liked to try was a darker grout (vs white). Just something a bit modern. The white looks great and is clean but trying new stuff is fun. I was just a tad nervous to. Thx!!
This is such a perfect color for tile in a bathroom - it's like the color of water in a tub, so soothing. I also love the mix of gloss and matte tile together. — Rebekah Zaveloff | KitchenLab
