Desk #2 is a handmade sculptural desk that is a visual treat to discover. The steam bent maple curves race around the frame creating gestural movement. The legs interact with the curves and two of them poke up above the work surface creating a new diagonal tension. The drawers add another dimension to the composition and they even open in an unexpected way, adding yet another layer to the composition. Desk #2 is one of the most sculptural pieces I have created.
