I hadn't heard this one before; the designer of this chair got the shape of the seat from an impression his wife's bum had left in the sand. This seems rather genius to me, and sort of funny! Regardless, the result is a comfortable and beautiful modern chair that makes a great occasional chair, task chair, or dining side chair.
