Ward-Young Architecture & Planning We do not sell the plans for this cabin as it was the guest house for a much larger project on Lake Tahoe. Thank you for you inquiry!
on the porch on the left, can you see thru above the horizontal rafters to see the roofing Material?... - on the porch on the left, can you see thru to the roofing material? or was something else used? I am trying to get this idea across to a contractor, as a " rustic" upgrade on an exsisting house. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!! »
Ward-Young Architecture & Planning Yes, the exposed roof structure can be seen up to the main cabin exterior walls but not into the interior of the cabin. Thank you for your interest!
Cabinets Unlimited You can also add T&G cedar Decking across the rafter tops, so you see the decking rather than the roofing from below. The roofing shown here might actually be appealing if left showing on exterior porch, as the architect had intended. If you go with standard metal as opposed to something more of the copper variety, you might consider the decking option. IMO
Ward-Young Architecture & Planning Unfortunately, we do not have the shot of the bedroom with a kitchenette, which is located opposite the sitting area. Regarding copy of the plans, all of our projects are custom designed for our clients. We would be happy to design something similar for you for a fee. Please contact our Truckee office at 530-587-3859 and ask for the project architect, Don Fulda. Thank you for your interest in this great project!
