Highland Group Actually, their is 24" between the facias, the photo makes it look as though they actually touch. Dead valleys, crickets and water diverters create water/ice dams that become leaks. Problems just waiting to happen. Avoid these problems. Make one gable higher bearing or re-design the roof. I promise their is a trial attorney just looking for this design flaw.
