Interior designer Jim Walters created a Roman-style shower area styled like an outdoor pavilion. Tile columns at four corners support a pyramid skylight that opens electronically and floods the space with sunshine.

Mosaic in the niche - Hi James,
I absolutely love the mosaic! I am particularly interested in the dark brown mosaic in the niche. I looked at the Bizazza Glass Mosaic on the website for Arizona Tile but was unable to find anything like it. Would you please provide additional information on it if possible or maybe something similar to it? I would very much appreciate your help! Thank you! »

Color Choice Question - I LOVE the colors in this bathroom. We are redoing our master bath and using tiles very similar in color. My questions is, should the painted walls match or be the walls in the bedroom? I love the monochromatic look with the paint being very close to the tile color, but the walls in my bedroom are a rich gold color, as are the drapes in the bedroom. Should the bathroom then be painted a gold color? »
James Patrick Walters I would advise treating the bath as an entirely separate space from the bedroom -
coordinate your paint shades with your tile selections and grout color.

dimensions and how many shower heads? - We are in the process of redoing our bathroom. We have 2 issues. First, we are doing 1 1/2 walls floor to ceiling doorless and flush to the floor. We need 1 ceiling shower, 1wall shower w/jets, and 1 combo shower head w/ hand held, and benches on both sides. My husband is in Afghanistan and is 6'8, I have breast cancer again so Im very week and cant stand long thus the benches and hand held. would this work? We're using a claw foot tub, bowl sinks, and the toilet area is so small my husband doesnt fit. Any ideas? Im going for my 24th surgery on 5.17 and would like this done by mid June. Approx. cost please. Thanks! »
which travertine did you use and also the name of the mosaic? It would sure save me a lot of time trying to reinvent the wheel especially if I really like what I see! »
Love the travertine and the design for the floor of the shower. Darrell you could do the fake column look into your shower....I really like that extra touch.
