cathy Chilton Hi, The river rock comes in 12" x 12" sheets with mess backing. They are very easy to install. I believe that they are about $18.00 -$25.00 per sq foot. Hopes this helps. Designer2
cathy Chilton The pebble "river rocks" are on a mesh backing and are installed like any other tile. They are also grouted like tils. Thanks for your intrest. Cathy Chilton Connections Fopr Design
michigammemom I have river rock in my steam shower and although it is a slightly uneven surface due to the natural contours of the rocks, it is not unpleasant to stand on.
gtmta Hello Cathy, I love your creation. I live in the Bay Area and would love to know where can I buy both shower and floor tiles and the pebble stone border. Please advise. Thank you.
annemoltchanoff I like this look a lot, nice job. On the shower floor, aren't the stones uncomfortable? And what kind of bathroom flooring is that, hard to tell, but it complements well....
Style Secret: Rocks and StonesThere's that link with nature again. Rocks are central to Japanese style, and they're most often found in traditional rock gardens. Smooth, polished stones, such as river rocks, best complement the serene and fluid feel of a Japanese space.East meets West: By all means add a rock garden to your landscape, but extend the use of rocks to your interior too. Use them to accent tile in a bathroom, as a floor surface or even as a wall covering.
