Original to the home was a beautiful stained glass window. The homeowner’s wanted to reuse it and since the laundry room had no exterior window, it was perfect. Natural light from the skylight above the back stairway filters through it and illuminates the laundry room. What was an otherwise mundane space now showcases a beautiful art piece. The room also features one of Cambria’s newest counter top colors, Parys. The rich blue and gray tones are seen again in the blue wall paint and the stainless steel sink and faucet finish. Twin Cities Closet Company provided for this small space making the most of every square inch.

Heavy vibration during spin cycle a drawback to stacking? - The washer of our current side-by-side duo vibrates extremely heavily during the spin cycle, to the point of moving around on the floor. Do these stacking units have greatly reduced or damped vibrations somehow so there is no danger of, say, the dryer falling off during the washer's spin cycle? Or are they fastened to each other somehow? »
Crystal Kitchen Center Sorry, but I am not sure I understand your question. The window in the photo is a stained glass window that we original to the home. We relocated it to this Laundry Room from the Master Bathroom. Does that answer your question? Mary
could you tell me where the rod and the cabinet around it are from? - I have a 37inch wall that that I would like to have this on.. thank you in advance. »
Crystal Kitchen Center The cabinet and rod came from Twin City Closet Company in Minneapolis, MN (www.tccloset.com). Great company to work with on a project.
Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. Not all washers and dryers are stackable. To find a large selection of which makes and models are, you can check out ajmadison.com and select the 'stackable' option: http://www.ajmadison.com/laundry/ :) Rhoda
Crystal Kitchen Center It really depends on how much room you have. This was a small Laundry Room and all it would accommodate was a 34" wide hanging rod. Hope this is helpful. Mary
Crystal Kitchen Center Hello - the counter top is made of quartz from Cambria. The color is Parys - it is very pretty. It has flecks of blue and silver in it. Hope this helps. Mary
Crystal Kitchen Center The Laundry Room is 62" x 90" and has two doorways. The stained glass window actually faces into a back stairway that has a skylight above it. Mary
7. Small space with stained glass. A stacked washer and dryer, a small sink and a spot for hanging clothes make the most out of limited square footage. Houzz readers also loved the beautiful stained glass window.
