"For the dining room we chose a large round wooden table. We think all dining tables should be round! They invite everyone at the table to chat and feel like they are all a part of the conversation and dining experience unlike some rectangular tables where you sometimes feel like you can only talk to the few people sitting around you," Melissa says. When picking out curtains for this room, Melissa wanted something a little more rich and dramatic, "I love the color and silky fabric. I bought them to be a bit long so they would lay across the ceramic tile floor a bit. I love the contrast between the shiny silky fabric and they rustic flooring and table." Table: Primitives; curtains: Bed Bath and Beyond
