Isn't the Fun 10 pendant the original? That one was designed in 1960s whereas Oly studio was created in 1999, according to the website. http://www.dwr.com/product/lighting/ceiling/fun-10-pendant.do?sortby=ourPicks
I'm confused, I'm just getting into interior design and all I see is "designers" copying each other and claiming thousands of dollars for the copy. I don't know which one copied the other, but both are over a grand, and if I want a copy of a nice design I'll just get a chinese made one for 200$, not in the thousands. So when was this designed? »
I believe this is the original fixture that started the capiz shell lighting trend. Absolutely stunning pearlescent shells reflect light, making this chandy stunning whether it's turned on or off.

Available in two sizes: Large: 28" diameter x 33" high (body of shells is 22" high) Ex-Large: 37" diameter x 34" high (body of shells is 24" high)
