kristinnicholas I purchased the ottoman at a flea market many years ago. You could probably make one if you had an old kilim rug and purchase legs from a furniture maker supply place. The base seems to be a plywood base. It isn't very comfy but it is a great place to sit and put on your boots or stack stuff.
