Lindenrinde ("Linden Bark") - Ken Architekten

An apartment building in Zurich, Switzerland, designed by Ken Architekten. Photograph by John Hill.

What Houzz contributors are saying:

The vertical pinstriping of the building picks up on another name for the linden tree: lime. Lime green alternates with yellow and brown around the building. The darkest brown aligns with the windows, which include exterior blinds for keeping out the sun.

I like: potentially having an exterior mounted window screen/slates that move up or down to allow full light or keep light out. Perhaps this would be mounted on exterior, wood of window frame or onto building, itself.
