Used as a weekend/vacation home for a family based in San Francisco, the owners wanted the home to be built in the Mediterranean style, but desired the interior design to possess an altogether more entertaining attitude. Everywhere one looks, there is humor and whimsy in the distinctive sculptures and other artwork that embellish the home.
In addition to the main house, there is a guest house, plunge pool, detached garage and promenade/tower. During construction, numerous native oak trees were preserved.

The bedroom is a really terrific place for a traditional chandelier. These types of lamps don't typically give off a lot of light. The slight shadows of the chandelier are ideal for creating sensuality in the bedroom space.
