Extraordinary impressions of the old world were created in this Tuscan-style home. Stucco exterior walls and wrought iron fixtures give a handmade, rustic look that exemplifies the architectural style. The plaster interior walls, artfully crafted, embrace the home's romance with the past. Their surface is a blend of colors created on site with a wax patina applied to some of the walls. The remarkable feeling of elegant antiquity is aided by the home's floors, which were created from reclaimed wood. Our carpenters gave the large beams in the great room and kitchen a rustic radiance through modern distressing techniques.

Eutree Wide Plank Flooring It looks like a mixed width long length Oak floor. I am not sure Red or White Oak. We made a similar one recently for a client. It was all 10" wide White Oak. joel@eutree.com
Can you tell me if this kitchen has a butlers pantry or where the main storage area is located? - I can see that there is a dining area to the right of the photo but i can't figure out this floor plan. Any help would be great! »
JMA (Jim Murphy and Associates) I don't recall seeing one when I did the photoshoot, but many of the homes we build do have butler's pantries. The architects were Hart Howerton in San Francisco. They would probably be more helpful and be able to supply more specifics.
Rebekah Zaveloff Kitchen Craft has a similar color on maple or cherry called Toffee Black Glaze or Sienna Mocha Glaze. And it looks very similar to their Wellington door style.
If the ceiling above your cabinets soars, you'll need to use larger items for display to keep them from getting lost in that area. Just a few large pieces are all you need to fill the emptiness of the space.
8. Dark wood tones. Mediterranean furniture is often solid, sturdy and elaborately carved or turned. Cabinetry and furnishings in a kitchen done in this style reflect that look, with rich woods such as walnut, along with deep staining and decorative detailing.Browse thousands of Mediterranean home photosMore:9 Elements of Spanish Revival KitchensColor Inspiration From the Mediterranean

I'm feeling as if I'm in a Tuscan Villa in this beautiful kitchen. It's warm and inviting. I can see the family sitting around the table, aggressively sharing of ideas while eating pasta and savoring a fine red wine.
