How has the floating glass island counter-top been constructed with the steel risers? LOVE IT! - Where were the steal risers purchased? Any other details on how to acheive this look? »
Chris Jovanelly Interior Design Hi! You should be able to source the risers through your glass or countertop fabricator. I do not have the specifications unfortunately. It's basically a typical island that I added a peninsula onto, and I had fully wrapped in the stone. I was very happy with the way it turned out. I would definitely recommend working closely with your fabricator to determine the feasibility of sizing for your space, necessary thickness of glass, etc. We had to use much thicker glass that what you would normally see for a table top to make it strong enough to be supported by only one riser on one end. Good luck with your project and I'm glad you like the design! I was very pleased with the results.
Chris Jovanelly Interior Design Yes, those are by Tech lighting, and they are called the Echo Pendants, and they have smoke outer glass. Good luck with your project!
