This kitchen uses the white cabinets in combination with the natural wood island, which I like. Like the island configurations with the use of the wood (dinning) with the granite for work space.

I love how the walnut is attached to the white counter top. I am hoping to redo my kitchen next year, and love walnut counter tops. This is a good compromise.
