While traveling in Ireland, I came upon this village of cottages being overtaken by the landscape around it. I took a photograph of the scene and painted it in vibrant exaggerated colors. A brilliant, colorful little painting to add interest to a small space on a wall or shelf.
About the artist:
I have been painting for my entire adult life. An art major in college, I have painted on canvas, paper, board and any other surface I could find. Landscapes appeal to me the most of all genres as I love painting with color. I have been most influenced by Impressionism and Expressionism. My artwork has been in many local art shows through the years as well as in private homes and businesses.
