You could have a carpenter install this for you. There are a few options for the resource. You could call a local salvage yard, or just go with prefinshed wood flooring that has a hand scraped look.
Ever find a piece of fabric that could actually be a painting? Why not wrap that around a canvas and make it one? Again, no need for a frame here. The boldness of the patterned print looks great standing alone in this little boy's bedroom.
i might lose the tennis rackets, and can't tell if that kid is what makes this room so cute or not...but the geometry in here is so wonderfully simple, my eyes understand everything in here, and the colors work like a surprise against the old wood wall and battered trunk.
