• Pair of Tiffin Frosted Satin Glass Vases, Poppy Pattern; Circa: 1930

A good-sized pair of frosted glass vases in the style of Lalique with 3-dimesional poppy flowers and leaves on it. A perfect size for lovely flower arrangements or they can also be placed on pedestals shown as objets d’art. They are of a transitional style of the early 20th Century, from Art Nouveau to Art Deco made by the Tiffin Glass Co. at Tiffin, Ohio; circa 1930. Reminiscent of the fine frosted glasswork of René Lalique, but at a fraction of the cost! These generous sized vases are made of a colorless satin finished glass with their famous molded poppy pattern. They stand almost 9" high, 8" diameter and have a 5" top opening rim. The condition on one is fine, and the other has a few small chips on the top rim only, nothing terribly visible (see close-up of rim at 2:00). There are no cracks or stains on either.
