These fused glass knobs can add pizzazz to any room or special furniture piece. The knobs are lovingly handmade in my home studio. The object of these knobs is to bring art to a functional object that you can enjoy using every day. Each knob or pull is made using 2,3,4 or in some cases 5 layers of cut glass or glass powders. I often use clear glass either on top of or in between design layers to create a sense of depth. Several of my designs are also three-dimensional in nature. This requires them to be fired in multiple stages to create different effects. Some knobs are fired once while others are fired many times. The knob backing is made of a sturdy stainless steel and is hourglass shaped. The hardware does not cover the back completely thus allowing the glass knob to capture and reflect light. Matching pulls are available with some knob designs. Overall the knobs are consistent in size and color. However each piece is handmade so there may be slight variations between knobs.
