This chandelier is a true work of art. The shells have been cut into delicate butterfly shapes.This particular fixture brings a question to mind that you may already be wondering: How the heck do you clean one of these? The best suggestion I've heard is to use a compressed-air container like the ones for cleaning out your DVD drive or keyboard.

I'm sure that, somewhere, out there, in cyberland, there's a chandelier that's very similar, if not almost identical to this one, that can be had for far less than two thousand dollars. Far less. I'll just keep looking until I find one, or better yet, I'll purchase some flat capiz shells, an old grill top, or a new one purchased just for this project, a nice, flexible strip of wood & a beautiful strip of veneer with which to cover that wood, some cotton twine, or tobacco twine, LED lights
