Could you please provide some detail on the fireplace surround? - Hello, I am trying to locate a fireplace surround similar to the one used here, particularly the reverse cove/convex portion underneath the mantle. What was the molding or fireplace surround used for this? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you. »
Vikrant Sharma Homez Its none of the above , after making the fireplace in Brick and Mortar drywall plaster is done after that The Stone is Fixed and then the outer is finished in Plaster of Paris .
Some millwork shops will have the convex shape, but since there are several mantel companies that will build one for you, you might want to go the "turnkey" route instead of building one from scratch.

Some rooms are simply, classically pretty. They don't shout; they whisper. This retreat, with its beautiful millwork, restrained palette, and unassuming fireplace anchoring the far wall, falls into that category.
for master bedroom chaise nook - just looking at the corner spot - want built in bookshelf either this height or just half like up to top of mantle height. LOVE ALL THE CROWN MOLDING TO GIVE ROOM INTEREST
Just gorgeous overall. Especially like the paint colors, grayed aqua on ceiling repeated gray in the bedspread and furniture. light contrast of millwork and walls.
