Fantastic design! - I actually have two questions, first, are those hidden speakers above the cabinetry? If so, what did you use to cover the front of them?
Second, I have am building a home and have a similarly sized room, and I'm try to decide if I have room for doors on the far side of my sofa, much like you have here. I was wondering if you could share the width of this rooom. Thank-you! »

Anne DeCocco Ultra suede and microfibers are considered particulary kid (and pet) friendly. Leather too. Most man-made fibers (such as polyesters and olefin) with a tight weave are good too because they're solution dyed and easy to clean. The best thing to do is to find a vendor in your area that treats your furniture when you buy it and then they take care of it if there's a stain problem. Or how about slipcovers in a washable fabric (like twill). Pop them in the washing machine whenever needed!
Plan for kids and pets. Whether your kids have two legs or four, they tend to be little busy bodies, and at times accident prone. When selecting furnishings, choose fabrics that are easy to clean, allowing you to maintain a healthy and beautiful home. Note to parents of tiny tots: This room also has a built-in safety feature — no sharp corners — yet it is quite mature and sophisticated.
