ThankU.ca I doubt there is a stain involved here just an oil or oil/wax finish on walnut. It really emphasizes the natural beauty of the wood. In my opinion pigment stains are the worst thing to do to wood they are good from far but close up there are always inconsistencies where the pigment is uneven.
