I have an enormous space in my hall entrance and just don't know what to put there, it's a contemporary house with a beautiful floating stair made of oak, and a granite floor, I don't want to get it wrong as it is the entrance please contact me and I will send you pictures of the room I could do with some great knowledge as I'm running out of ideas!
Kind regards

TanCalGal Post pictures. Sounds beautiful. Maybe you do not need to do too much to the entry, You'll want quite a bit of empty space to show the stair and granite to their best advantage.
Robert Granoff I'm not sure exactly but since the installation is in a restaurant in NYC I would imagine that they used L.E.D's. I would recommend www.litgreen.com . They could build you an energy efficient panel that would last a long time so you wouldn't have to worry about switching out bulbs. Glass objects always look great when back lit. Good luck! RG
Backlit shelving allows the shape of the bottles to be used almost like art. The play of light off the walls adds another interesting set of textures and colors.
Wine rack -- nice design, need to understand how lighting is done. Also:
- Is it possible to construct on a larger scale?
- Is it refrigerated?
- If so, how is refrigeration done -- cooling system, etc?
This is to remind me of sidewall options for the wine room and to remind me i want source to supply lighting to the side walls.
Of course this is really cool and my options are semi cool:)
