wow, great find of a photo. That is definitely a unique layout for a vent, windows, tile, etc In terms of vents, there are 3 or 4 critical elements to consider. One is the actual vent pipe and where it is going outside (such as into slab, out top, wall,etc). Second is the ventilation unit or insert itself. These arenusuallynsold by your appliance dealer. Third is the "structural" portion which holds the vent and/or entire unit to the wall, and finally is the "trim" or cover. Of course, some vent types cover more than one item, depending on the design.

I assume your question was the latter, and you can find good sheet metal fabricators in almost any major city that work with stainless steel or other metals. They should be able to help with at least the trim, if not multiple components. Check with your local HBA or NARI chapter on the web

ladyastor While I am not affiliated with the project, it could be a wide-plank (6+ inches), unstained white oak, not "select" cut, as it has the knots.
