Spending time in my garden brings me joy and inner peace. During those cold months in my Nebraska home, I like to paint the beauty of the summer flowers.
In 2003, I came to the realization that the core of my creative passion lay in painting. With my then, recent marriage to and support of, a wonderful man, we created my first dedicated (and beautiful) studio space. It's been a wonderful place in which to channel my creative energy into my art.
My inspiration for my art comes from many places: my own journey through life; the awe-inspiring beauty of nature; my personal spirituality; my sense of humor etc.
About the artist:
From childhood I have had a passion for "creating". And so after graduating from Fordham University, I began a career as a Theatrical Costume Designer. I spent 25, fulfilling and successful, years in the "business", designing costumes for a wide range of theaters , universities and amusement parks (Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA) throughout the United States. I even owned and operated my own costume company for about 5 years.In 2003, I came to the realization that the core of my creative passion lay in painting. With my then, recent marriage to and support of, a wonderful man, we created my first dedicated (and beautiful) studio space. It's been a wonderful place in which to channel my creative energy into my art.
