Love all the light, schoolhouse pendants have been on my wish list a long time & this is a really good price. My kitchen is huge but has only one window & 2 light fixtures. But with a high slanted beamed ceiling, with horrid fake brown paint on beams, i'd love to add more light fixtures, pendants and a rustic/chic chandelier over eat in table & cover wiring with bead board between beams & paint all of it very white, I'm talking chalk white, very matt! Small double ovens, stove top vent & spice cabinet are the only upper cabinets besides a suspended cabinet over one side of the "U" shaped work area. it acts as a room divider & so low I have to stoop to work/prep on counter below it, hit my head on it constantly. Would oive to take it down & use it along wall, also moving lower cabinet/counter add it also to same wall. While opening kichen & adding more counter space. of course this would require new flooring too. The butler pantry & side of double ovens make a short "hall" door to formal dining room with almost floor length bay window so it has lots natural light, marble top built ins, bright yet classy subtle wallpaper & beautiful chandelier, it also has same ceiling as kitchen so I'd paint to match, not sure headboard between beams would work in such a formal room? the only other change needed is new flooring to replace a faux brick vinyl that is also in formal front foyer & in the added on sunroom
