This grill doesn't look like it's vented. Is there any concern of cooking smoke/grime getting onto the house? (Currently building and have the dilema on where to put the summer kitchen) »
Ronique Gibson Many summer kitchens that are located away from doorways leading into the main house don't need to be vented, since it is open to the air. Many homeowners decide to install a ceiling fan adjacent to the covered roof area to disperse smoke/fumes if wanted to aid in removing lingering odor, smoke, etc..
This simple modern patio incorporates simple elements into an elegant, comfortable designs. The family can gather quite comfortably at the wrought iron table and chairs or cook on the stainless steel barbecue grill. The home provides shade, and the overhang over the grill shields it from the elements.
