sueviii Julinda, I am so in love with the stacked cabinet look but I only have 8' ceilings. Do you think that I can still do it with a small upper cabinet or do you think my ceiling is too low. TIA for your input!
Julinda Balca-2Go Custom Kitchens Inc. Hello sueviii,
Assuming you are going to use a 3" high crown molding, you will end up with 39" high wall cabinets. Not enough to have stacked cabinets. You can instead use a shaker door where only the upper part is glass and the rest is solid .Check the attachment (via http://fortheloveofahouse.blogspot.ca) .
I am talking about the same door but the lower part of it is solid. I will be posting some pictures of a project I just finished soon (used the door I am taking about) and you will see that it looks quite nice.
If you need more info just call me 613.731.8646.
Hope this helps,
Julinda
LA Dwelling Countertop looks like Caesarstone's Lagos Blue (4350) - don't be put off by the name, it isn't blue at all and should be available at most granite yards
Pratt and Larson Ceramics The backsplash looks like Pratt and Larson's random multi-rectangle mosaic. Colors can be chosen from our over 300 glaze options. call or visit us for more information. 503.231.9464 http://www.prattandlarson.com
If I couln't have the Tarazzo looking counter tops, I like these also and I like the back spash, all together w/ white cabinets, dark floors, I like the look of this kitchen.
