Our client wanted a clean and classic Master Bath Suite. Initially, I designed 3 different options, but option 1 was a home run for the client and also my favorite based on thier wishlist. The vanity and mirror are custom made for the space with a 12 step dark stain process that allows the depth of the grain to show through. It took about 10 sample runs to get the finish just right, not too red and not too dark. We built the massive mirror to "float" off the wall so that it would visually lighten the space. The shower glass was detailed so that it appears seamless against the shower bench. We used Carerra marble throughout.

Paint color - Does anyone know the exact paint color? »
What kind of wood have you used to made the mirror frame? - I understand the mirror frame was custom made. I made my frames out of maple and poplar due to their nice and smooth surface. However, they were made for hallways mainly. I wonder if the selection of wood makes any difference whether it's going to be exposed to increased humidity (since it's in the bathroom), or not. Thank you kindly for your opinion. »
jessicagriffin sherwin williams repose gray is very similar. It can appear gray or beige depending on it's surroundings. I have it in my master bedroom and am debating on choosing it for my bath as well.
How high should sconces be mounted and how do I know how many I need? - I have a 7-foot alcove with a sink and make-up vanity. I would like to mount the sconces on the side walls instead of the mirror. Will two sconces each with 60 watts be enough with recessed lights overhead? How high should they be and does it matter if they are up or down facing? »
Custom Home Planning Center 60 watt or LED equivalent is not enough and down light from recess cans is stark. My suggestion is build a frame of flat 2x 6" shorter and narrower than the mirror your going to use. Cover it with 1/2" plywood. Run LED strip lights (see site) on the outside edge of the 2 x frame facing out. Run your low voltage supply to the lights and set the transformer on the back wall of the vanity where you have added a duplex. This will float the mirror and give your uniform reflective light for make up and such.
Frederick Walker if any of you are looking for that large mirror...if you dont mind spending $400.00 you can look at courtfurntiture.com or court.com, that where im gonna get mine
Lori Shaffer It's Carrera Marble flooring. Pretty common stuff, make sure you have see a sample of the tile with your grout color. I prefer using a white that leans towards gray, however some off whites lean towards yellow. It's always best to do a sample.
pasqua Thank you, Lori, I really apreciate your response. Now I can go forward and thanks for the tip on the grout; I would never have known what to use.
Niki Papadopoulos Statuary Marble is basically Cararra's sister, they are mined in the same place in Italy. You can usually tell the who apart because Statuary usually has a brighter white background with more distinctive grey veining, where Cararra can appear to have a more grey body with charcoal veins. It's a bit hard to tell in this photo but I am going to guess this is Cararra since overall it seems to have a bit more grey going on and looks a bit more consistent. Hope this helps!
Lori Shaffer The vanity was custom built by an incredibly talented woodworker. It is made of solid cherry with a labor intensive espresso stain. I designed the vanity because I couldn't find anything that was off the shelf that had the look the client and I wanted. Restoration Hardware now sells similar styles, so I suggest you check there. Best of Luck!
Lori Shaffer It is a multi-step stain process that we used. It was tough to get just the right finish. We found using a wood dye, then stain allowed the grain to show through yet gave us that rich deep espresso color we were going for.
Lori Shaffer I dont remember specifically the color of gray selected. Gray especially can lean toward lavender depending on what's in the room, but more importantly the natural light. I would definitely recommend buying samples of different colors and trying them out before you commit.
Can "Iceburg" granite be put on vanity top of Master Bath Suite? - Would prefer granite instead of marble for vanity top & shiney tile for floor & shower. Is the marble shiney? »
If you have a long open run, adding some symmetry will help to create an organized and balanced look to the space. Folded towels help to soften the space creating added warmth and visual comfort.
8. Using one big mirror instead of two smaller ones gives this bathroom a punch of subtle style. Users bookmarked this photo for the modern vessel sinks and the black wood vanity.
Some elements to keep in mind when designing your double vanity are symmetry, ample counter space between sinks, a large mirror spanning both sinks (or one mirror over each sink) and lighting.

Guest suite - dark floating cabinet in gray with superwhite countertop, gray & white floor tile and do a gray tile in shower to pick up the cabinet color. Light gray or seafoam paint.. Two smaller mirrors in ray instead of huge large one. Bring tile up behind free standing tub.
