LeMaster Architects Quartz has little to no radon off gassing and is more stain and mildew resistant than granite. It can often come with an anti-microbial sealant. I prefer quartz to granite for kitchens.

ginaginagina Quartz is a better quality and long term option. I am remodelling my kitchen and was faced with the same dilemma. I've had granite counters in the past, as well. The fact that quartz stains less is the main reason I am switching. Ease of maintenance, durability and usability makes me favour quartz.

taimeaka16 I saw this picture on the hgtv website a while back and loved this color and at the end it stated the color was Sherwin Williams Latte. I painted my guest room this color

I believe the idea behind the bucket was to make it easy to transfer items up and down the loft instead of having to carry them while trying to climb. Hope that helps.
