katie1212 Please ket ne know the name of this tile and color. I like this back splash and have had difficulty finding tile to compliment the solaris granite. Likewise, I have dark to medium finished wood cabinets.
myyorkies Can you please tell me where the stools came from? I had those exact stools and lost them during hurricane sandy and would love to replace them, however they have been discontinued. They are the Hillsdale Bordeaux Collection. Maybe someone else manufactures them under a different name? Thanks!
Sandra Alger, CID, Fresh Ideas by Sandy Valeili, I am sorry if I confused you. I just wanted you to be aware of " Caesarstone", Silestone"- (man made and doesn't need any sealers) as you won't have to worry about any etchings, stains, etc.- vs. granite which is more porous. Some clients love it, especially in contemporary kitchens and clients who entertain a lot.,
I have Granite with some Quartzite in it, because I personally wanted Marble for this kitchen(1856) and the only stone that came close to it was "White Iceburg" I cook all the time and wine has been spilled on the granite and no problems., but I did have it sealed, as well.
I love the white granite that has Quartzite in it.
Good luck it can be daunting....
Trying to locate these stools - Does anyone know where I can purchase these stools? They are a match to my dining set and I ca not seem to locate them. »
