How did you affix the cork to the wall? Is this just an accent wall? If so, what did you use on the others? - I really love the use of color and texture! »
lisa rubenstein - real rooms design Hi - thanks for your question. We used cork floor tiles and affixed them with the glue that comes with it. I had my wallpaper guy install these. Good luck! Lisa
love the color-tone of the cork. where did you get it? - I have been looking for some squares just like this and was wondering where you got them? Most I have seen have been lighter. This room is so cool! Thanks! »

lisa rubenstein - real rooms design That's right. We used cork floor tiles and I had my wallpaper hanger glue them on the wall. It's been great to see the young man who occupies the space use it for his own personal collection. Happy Decorating! Lisa

The Thinker. Carve out a quiet corner in the room, complete with desk, corkboard walls, and an inspiring view for your scholastic achiever. Having a dedicated space to plan his next big move is a dream come true.
Uses in the HomeAcoustic backing. Cork's compressive strength and acoustic and thermal attributes make it a popular backing for many other materials in commercial buildings. It's even used to insulate some parts of space shuttles! These same qualities make it an ideal choice for exterior walls or walls in children's play areas, where it can help block noise and maintain temperature, and can also double as a pinboard.
