Koreman Landscape Company Our company has been installing these type of fireplaces for many years. We actually have a very similair one in our backyard. I have not heard of anyone ever falling in them. I do have a client that posts pictures of her dog jumping in her fire pit, not when the fire is on :)
Good luck getting your hubby to agree, a firepit is a great addition to any yard.

Michael Murphy We have a lot of snow, so we cover in winter months - and when not in use all other times, to avoid falls.
